Granada

We proudly present: Granada from Austria, on Saturdaym 24th June 2023, at the 8th blacksheep festival 2023.

The first thoughts: hot flamenco, passion and fast rhythms. Nearly. Not Spanish, but Austrian. The five-piece band comes from Styria. If you only hear the first words, the term dialect band hits the mark. Together with accordion and harmonica, this results in an indie-pop-rock mix that is worth listening to. Her charm, her humor and her informal manner inspire many. And why is an Austrian band called Granada now? It’s not about Latinos or the Spanish language. It’s about the car, the Ford Granada from the 1970s. Great car, great band. That fits.
